You can build dozens of buildings in your village centre. Each has requirements; the main building shortens construction times. One construction runs at a time, although some tribes can build a field and a village building simultaneously.
You can demolish an unneeded building level by level from the main building. Some buildings can only be built in the capital, others only outside it.
